Dedicated to helping infants thrive
The founder of Little Roos Pediatric Therapy is Laurel McMillan, MA, OTR/L, an occupational therapist specializing in infant and pediatric therapy services. She is a graduate of the University of San Diego and earned her master’s degree at the University of Southern California. She has many years of professional experience treating infants in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), as well as extensive experience in outpatient pediatric care, and subacute pediatric rehabilitation. She has worked with a wide range of children from 0-18 years old requiring various levels of developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and medical fragility support.
In February of 2020, Laurel opened her own private pediatric therapy practice, Little Roos Pediatric Therapy, to address unmet needs in the community. Little Roos Pediatric Therapy offers a full spectrum of infant and pediatric development services, supporting the child and family every step of the way. Purposeful Play with Babies was developed directly out of the wealth of experience gained through years of clinical practice, using the same proven techniques. This course will help guide parents through developmental expectations and purposeful play for the first 6 months of life with engaging, fun, and effective activities.
